North Central Texas College is proud to announce the FALL 2019 OPENING of the First State Bank Exchange campus in downtown Denton. Located in the former Denton Record Chronicle building at 314 East Hickory Street NCTC will offer fully-accredited academic programs and services in The Exchange. WITH over 45,000 square feet of classrooms, computer labs, testing centers, faculty and administrative offices, THIS WILL BE THE SMARTER CENTER FOR BEGINNING, COMPLETING OR CONTINUING YOUR EDUCATION.

Jessica DeRoche has been with North Central Texas College (NCTC) for 13 years and was recently appointed Sr. Director of Denton County Campuses, which will include Corinth, Flower Mound and the FSB Exchange. For the last 7 years she has been the Director of the Flower Mound Campus, which consisted of daily maintenance and operations of the campus, as well as growth of the campus, community involvement and exploration.

In addition, Jessica assists with student conduct, CARES, the Behavioral Intervention Team, Title IX investigations and other taskforce and committees for the institution. She is currently serving on the Homelessness Leadership Team for United Way of Denton County, Lewisville Chamber Board of Directors, and the 2020 Census Complete Count Committee for the City of Lewisville. Other partnerships that Jessica is involved in is the Lunch with a Leader mentorship program with Communities In Schools of North Texas at Central Elementary, outreach to Communities In Schools of North Texas schools, Timber Creek Elementary School Seven Habits Student Awards Sponsor and Building Leadership Team member, and the Denton Community Job Fair Taskforce with Denton ISD, Denton Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Denton County, Workforce Solutions North Central Texas College and the City of Denton.

Jessica previously worked as the Coordinator of the TRIO Student Support Services Program at North Central Texas College, where she assisted low-income, first-generation and disabled students in becoming successful in college. During her time with TRIO Jessica was able to make an impact on students and their families, which lead to her desire to do more outreach within the community. Jessica loves working in higher education and looks forward to the growth of North Central Texas College.

Jessica received her Master’s in Education from the University of North Texas in Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas.
